PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly drop a saddle in a sudden stop, and to return the dropped saddle to an original position making use of the advancing rotational motion of a pedal to prevent the tottering or overturning sideways of a bicycle in a sudden stop. SOLUTION: A pressurizing body 4 which is also used for a stopper for a series gear plate to be interlocked with a brake lever 1 is installed close to a rotary shaft of an advancing pedal 3, a gear 5 is provided on the rotary shaft, and a movable cylinder 6 is fitted to a lower part of a saddle 2, and closely stored in a frame of hollow shape. A series gear plate 8 connected to a moving cylinder 6 in an upper end part is provided in the position meshed with the gear 5 when the saddle 2 is elevated, and the pressurizing body 4 which is also used for the stopper for the series gear plate is arranged at the position in contact with the series gear plate 8.
