BASE STATION CAPACITY REPORTING METHOD

PURPOSE: A base station capacity reporting method whereby a user can be informed of the usable capacity of the base station in the area where the cellular phone is being used and the one of the surrounding base stations. CONSTITUTION: The base station capacity reporting method includes the steps of: receiving a usable capacity of the base station in the area where the cellular phone is being used and the one of the surrounding base stations, and producing them to a display of a mobile station requesting a communication service; performing the communication if the transmission data capacity is smaller than the usable capacity; and producing a corresponding alarm signal if the transmission data capacity exceeds the usable capacity of the base station when a hand-over occurs during communication performance.
