PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability even for a person having a large hand by adding an operation to release this lighter from a non-ignitable state to a series of operations to generate sparks through rotation of a file wheel occasioned by operation of a horizontal wheel and injection of fuel through depressing operation of an actuation lever. SOLUTION: Horizontal wheels 62 fixed on both sides of the file wheel of an ignition means 6 are vertically movably arranged. An actuation lever 5 to open and close a nozzle 3 is interlocked that, according to vertical movement of the horizontal wheel 62, it is situated in a position, where a nozzle engaging part 51 at one end is not engaged with the nozzle 3, during rise and moved to a position, where the engaging part is engaged with the nozzle 3, during lowering. The actuating lever is energized to the engaging position by an energizing means 9. In the non-engaging position, injection of fuel gas is impracticable and in the engaging position, injection of fuel gas is practicable. By adding operation to depress the horizontal wheel 62, ignition is practicable.
