PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver with a center speaker input that is configured to automatically select a television audio signal in the television receiver or a center speaker input from an external device after discriminating them. SOLUTION: This television receiver has an audio input terminal 7 that receives an audio signal from an external device, an audio input detection means 13 that detects an input signal received at the audio input terminal 7 from the external device, and a changeover means 11 that selects the television audio signal obtained through the reception of the television receiver or the input signal from the external device and outputs the selected signal to speakers 1A, 1B of the television receiver. When the input signal is detected by the audio input detection means 13, the changeover means 11 outputs the input signal from the external device to the speakers 1A, 1B and when the input signal is not detected by the audio input detection means 13, the changeover means 11 selects the television audio signal and outputs it to the speakers 1A, 1B. |
