PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the wireless mouse which is reduced in power consumption as much as possible by using only one data transmission part by moving an element for communication in a mouse enclosure and moving and adjusting the projection direction of optical movement data according to the installation position of a data reception part. SOLUTION: The data transmission part 4 consists of one LED 4a and an element driving circuit 4b which drives it and the projection direction of optical movement data of the LED 4a from the mouse enclosure is adjusted to the data reception part. Thus, the data transmission part 4 consists of one LED 4a and one element driving circuit 4b driving it and then the power consumption is reducible, so that the power consumption of the wireless mouse can be made small. Further, the projection direction of the optical movement data of the LED 4a can be moved, adjusted, and fixed to the data reception part according to the installation position of the data reception part, so the installation range of the data reception part can be covered widely by the one LED 4a.
