Cassette holder has shell (2) for accommodating cassette (9), positioning plate mounted on rear surface of shell, sliding part movable between shell and plate and cassette holding part (6) mounted on lower end of sliding part to hold cassette. Grooves in shell and plate enable holding part to move up and down. Plate has at least one aperture responding to cassette. Holding part can move between lower and upper position in which it protrudes from upper front of shell and has at least one plate aperture engagement part. An Independent claim is also included for an x-ray and/or gamma ray direct photography table.
