PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to adjust the depth of cereal stem-threshing to a deep mode and the back part of a machine body to move upward when standing cereal stems are judged to be a lodging mode by detecting the speed of a vehicle and the number of revolution during reaping. SOLUTION: This controlling device for judging reaping modes of a farming vehicle is specifically installed with a threshing depth-adjusting means and a mode judgment adjusting means. When a standard mode or a lodging mode as a reaping mode, which is set according to growing posture before leaping of unreaped cereal stems, is judged to be the lodging mode by detected values of a vehicle speed-detecting means which detects the vehicle speed and a reaping speed of revolution-detecting means which detects the speed of revolution of a reaping device, a threshing depth mode, which comprises 3 steps of a deep mode, a standard mode and a shallow mode, of fed cereal stems is adjusted to the deep mode by the threshing depth-adjusting means, while the mode judgment-adjusting means adjusts the back part of the vehicle to move upward by a pitching adjusting means which adjusts forward and backward inclinations of the vehicle body.
