PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for the production of a pulp-molding product effective to improve the dryability of pulp slurry to be used as a raw material for the pulp-molding product and provide a molding produced by the production process. SOLUTION: A pulp-molding product is produced by dehydrating a pulp slurry and heating and drying the obtained wet molding product. In the above process, the pulp slurry is incorporated with an inorganic coagulant and one or more substances selected from anionic colloidal particle, anionic polymer, cationic-anionic ampholytic polymer, nonionic polymer and surfactant.
