PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely perform assembling work with ease by using a side plate used temporarily for forming a car chamber directly without any disassembly and building up a finishing panel for permanent construction from the inside of the car. SOLUTION: A car panels are provided with a plurality of side plates 2, in which bent parts are formed in both side ends while through holes are formed respectively in the positions facing the adjacent side plate on the bent part, spacers 9 arranged between the opposed through holes in the adjacent side plates, and fastening members 7, 8 passed through the through holes formed in the opposed positions of the adjacent side plates so as to fasten the side plates mutually. This elevator car is constructed of the car panels arranged with the bent parts of the side plates directed on the inside of the car and finishing panels 11 provided with notch parts 11b formed in bent parts so as to be engaged with the spacers 9, and the finishing panels 11 are engaged with the spacers 9 in the car panels freely removably.
