PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitator device for nullifying garbage having a treating vessel which is capable of smoothly rotating impellers without imposing an serious burden on the impellers even when a large crude refuse is charged. SOLUTION: The agitator device 10 is constituted of the cylindrical microorganisms activation treating vessel 12 having a regular polygon-shaped longitudinal section and rotating in the radial direction. By having the microorganisms activation treating vessel 12 constituted of the regular polygon- shaped longitudinal section, the impeller is smoothly rotated, and further, the crude refuse is uniformly mixed with the microorganisms and is agitated.
