PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and surely fit the wheel cover to wheels different in shape and structure by threadedly fastening with a screw hole of a wheel cover to a projecting part of a fitting piece to fit a wheel cover in the state of covering the front of a flange part of the wheel with the wheel cover. SOLUTION: A tire 6 is installed on front and rear bead seat parts 2b, 2c in a rim part 2A of a wheel 2, and then before the tire 6 is filled with air, locking parts 4a of plural fitting pieces 4 are inserted at equal spaces in the circumferential direction between close contact opposite surfaces of a bead part 6a of the tire 6 and the rim 2A of the wheel 2, and the hook-like bent locking parts 4a of the respective fitting pieces 4 are locked in the front flange part 2a of the rim 2A. After that, a plural portions of the rear face of the wheel cover 1 are pressed to the front surfaces of the fitting pieces 4 projected from the flange part 2a of the rim 2A. |
