PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily store a packaging member in a case even when the size of a circuit board is made almost the same as the inside of the case by providing a recess for storing a part of the packaging member on the inner face side of a frame body and storing a part extruded from the peripheral edge of the circuit board in the recess. SOLUTION: A compact card type electronic device comprises a case 2a, a circuit board 4 stored in the case 2a packaging member such as a liquid crystal display (LCD) device. The case 2a is constituted by assembling an upper cover 7, a resin-made frame body 8 and a lower cover a recess 23 for storing a part of the packaging member is formed on the inner face side of the frame body 8. A part of the packaging member means the bent part of an FPC 31 which may be extruded from the peripheral edge of the board 4 in superposing the LCD board on the board 4 by bending the FPC 31 connecting the board 4 to the LCD part. Since the recess 23 provided on the inner face side of the frame body 8, the capacity as much as the part of the inside of the case 2a can be increased. In addition the recess 23 scarcely degrades the strength of the frame body 8. |
