PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary blade which is capable of moving and cutting from a rotary shaft direction to an orthogonal direction with a rotary shaft and vice versa by fixedly attaching hard blades protruding from the peripheries of notched parts tilted alternately in the opposite direction, to the end parts, in the rotating direction, of arm members projecting from a support member. SOLUTION: Hard blades 5 have their respective back faces bonded to the notched parts of arm members 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f to form a rotary blade. As viewed from right above the hard blades 5, each of the blades 5 is structured so that the blade 5 protrudes, tilting alternately at their respectively specified lead angles from one end to the other end of each of the arm members 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 3f. The rotary blade is moved to cut in the rotary shaft direction or at a set angle with the rotary shaft direction. Thus an arclike groove can be formed on a plate to be worked. In addition, it is possible to cut the plate while the rotary blade is moved from one forward moving direction to an orthogonal direction and therefore, cut out an arclike groove in the orthogonal direction. Further a conical dent and various patterns are formed in the plate to be worked by rotating a member supporting the rotary blade at a position for the member.
