PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide joint structure having a positive water stop function by embedding this joint structure at the time of forming a manhole, and eliminating after-fitting of a joint to the formed manhole. SOLUTION: This joint structure comprises a cylindrical part 1 with rubber elasticity, and a collar part 2. An adhesive material layer 4 is provided on the surface of the collar part 2, and an adhesive material layer 4' is provided on the inner surface of the cylindrical part 1. The outside of the cylindrical part 1 is pressed by a fastening band 5 to pressure-fit the adhesive material layer to a pipe to stop water. The collar part 2 of the joint structure is fitted into a manhole forming predetermined outer wall, and a manhole shaped to insert the joint structure is formed. The pipe is mounted to the manhole so as to abut the adhesive material layer mounted to the inner surface of the cylindrical part 1 of the joint structure, and the cylindrical part 1 is crimped and fixed to the pipe using the fastening band 5.
