PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot control device wherein optimum control of a spot welding gun is possible. SOLUTION: When a sequencer 40 receives a single stage stroke spot welding instruction from a robot control board 30, a cylinder SB thereof is made to be driven while relaying the instruction to a timer conductor 50. When a two stage stroke spot welding instruction is received, a cylinder is made to be driven while relaying the instruction to the timer conductor after a set time is elapsed. Thereby, the timer conductor is made to equally handle a spot welding gun of a two stage stroke specification even for the single stroke welding or for the two stage stroke welding. A fine control of the spot welding gun is thus made possible.
