PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively make a riding sensation in the vicinity of a resonance frequency under a spring compatible with a riding sensation in the vicinity of a resonance frequency above a spring. SOLUTION: A load generated by an electromagnetic actuator 5 arranged in series to the damper 4 of a suspension S is proportioned to an absolute speed V above a spring obtained by integration-processing detected by an absolute acceleration sensor 13 above spring. Concerning an input frequency approximately equal to 10 Hz being a resonance frequency under a spring, vertical acceleration transmitted from a road to a car body 1 is remarkably reduced and a damping effect equivalent to a sky hook damper is produced. Besides, concerning an input frequency approximately equal to 1 Hz being a resonance frequency above a spring, since acceleration of transmission to a car body 1 is increased compared with a sky hook damper, lowering of a feeling of ride occasioned by excessive cut-off of acceleration of transmission to a car body being the defect of the sky hook damper at an input frequency approximately equal to 1 Hz is prevented from occurring. |
