PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a gas emitting substance from a floor material effectively by a simple operation by using a floor heater installed for heating the floor material. SOLUTION: A floor heater is provided with a heating section M for floor heating installed under a floor material in order to perform heating operation, a heating control section G for controlling heating operation of the heating section M for floor heating, and a bake out mode commanding means 21, 30 for giving to the heating control section G an execution of a bake out mode in which a substance is emitted from the floor material. The heating control section G performs such a control that the heating section M for floor heating executes heating operation under a bake-out operation condition set in advance, when execution of the bake-out mode is commanded by the bake-out mode commanding means 21, 30.
