PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive hanger rail device having plural functions, and useful under any condition. SOLUTION: On a rail main body 15 to compose a hanger rail device, a supporting skirt part 18 to cover the upper side of the rail main body 15 and support a tono board 8 to open/close a luggage room 9 is provided. When a slidable hook 27 is used on the rail main body 15, it functions as a hanger, and it functions as a rack to support the tono board 8 regardless if the hook 27 is used or not. By the supporting skirt part 18, a high torsion rigidy is secured for the rail main body 15, and functions as the hanger are improved. Dust or the like is less likely to invade into a groove 16 in the rail main body 15, therey the functions as the hanger are stabilized.
