PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently stirr the reagent housed in a reagent container having a non-circular horizontal cross section. SOLUTION: A pedestal 14 on which a plurality of reagent containers 16 are radially placed is provided in a housing part 12. A horizontal magnetic row comprising a plurality of magnetic elements 40 is provided to a bottom surface plate 20 and a vertical magnetic element row comprising a plurality of magnetic elements 40 is provided to a side surface plate 12. The respective magnetic element rows exert magnetical action on the stirrers 17 in the reagent container 16 accompanied by the rotation of the pedestal 14. That is, when the pedestal 14 is rotated, the stirrers 17 perform horizontal motion and succeedingly perform vertical motion.
