PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a feature value which is closer to a correct answer even if the correct feature value is not selected by estimating an evaluated value when each choice is selected according to information on properties when the feature value corresponding to a case is selected and selecting the feature value based on the estimated value. SOLUTION: According to the state of plural attributes (e.g. the accent type and number of moral of an accent phrase of text sound synthesis, modification destination of accent phrase, and modification destination of the accent phrase) on one case, a feature value (e.g. representative pattern of text sound synthesis) on the case is selected out of choices. In this case, an estimated value yk of the feature value corresponding to a (k)th choice is found from an expression by using the function wkj(dj) and constant wko of a property value dj determined by the state of a (j)th property and according to the estimated value of the feature value, the feature value with respect to the case is selected out of choices. Consequently, the feature value which is closer to the correct answer can be selected. |
