PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-wavelength polarimeter which can reduce errors in recognizing a measurement wavelength, setting of a hardware fit for the wavelength, or the like when a filter for setting the wavelength is exchanged. SOLUTION: The multi-wavelength polarimeter allowing an exchange of wavelength-setting filters of different wavelengths includes filter sensors 150, 152, D1-D4 which can output a predetermined identification signal for each wavelength of the filter 116 and a recognizing means 158 for recognizing the wavelength of the filter 116 on the basis of the recognition signals from the filter sensors 150, 152, D1-D4.
