Operating program setting method for a program-controlled domestic appliance such as a washing machine

The method involves using rotary and pushbutton switches (8,9,10,11) to select parameter settings to compose an operating program for the appliance. The settings of several of the parameters (4,5,6,7) are simultaneously displayed during the selection process. An Independent claim is included for a program-controlled domestic appliance.
