PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve an appropriate musical piece from a database, which includes plural musical pieces, based on the characteristics of the musical piece. SOLUTION: In the method, a music database 302 includes plural musical pieces. A music inquiring request 104, which is made up with a conditional equation relative to the attribute and/or the name of a desired musical piece, is formed. A comparison (312) is made between the relationship parameter of the specified music piece and the corresponding parameters related to other music pieces in the database 302. Then, a music 106 having the music piece located within the distance satisfying the conditional equation and an identifier 108 are outputted. |
