The strut comprises two telescopic tubular elements in such a manner that the internal tubular element has mounted in it a spring clip which has two arms with end expansions which extend via individual diametrically opposed apertures in said internal tubular element, being capable of exerting a stop action against an upper flange fixed to the adjustment nut, preventing fortuitous detachment of the strut. <IMAGE>
