PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a disorder in gradation of picture and to increase the utilization ratio of emitter light within one field time. SOLUTION: Plural subfields, in which the weighting by the display pulses number is a highest order level, are included in a field and an arrangement is provided to have more than three subfields in the order, in which the subfields having the highest order level are included and the weighting levels are increasing or decreasing. One gradation level, which utilizes the highest order level, is formed in plural kinds corresponding to the operating condition among the plural highest order level subfields. |
