PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the light from the side ends of the lens system sheet of a display panel invisible by providing at least one side ends of the lens system sheet with a light shielding part. SOLUTION: The lens system sheet 14 is disposed on a back light 12 and a liquid crystal cell 16 of a light transmission type is disposed thereon. The back light 12, the lens system sheet 14 and the liquid crystal cell 16 are housed in a metallic bezel cover 18. The lens system sheet 14 is provided with a first prism sheet 36 on a diffusion sheet 34 and is further provided with a second prism sheet 38 thereon. The side end of the lens system sheet 14 integrated with the diffusion sheet 34, the prism sheet 36 and the prism sheet 38 is provided with a black light shielding part 40. The way of providing the side end with the black light shielding part 40 described above is executed by superposing plural sheets of the lens system sheets 14 to a certain thickness, then applying a coating liquid thereon or printing the same. |
