PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device which can prevent the sealing material at a liquid crystal injection hole from being damaged by the heat generated when a driving means is heated and press-fitted to a lead-out electrode part. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal device is provided at both the end parts of a main body 1 with lead-out electrode parts 35a and 35b where electrodes provided to at least one of a couple of substrates 11a and 11b between which liquid crystal is sandwiched are led out and the electrodes and the driving means for driving the liquid crystal are electrically connected. Then the lengths 11 and 12 of the lead-out electrode parts 35a and 35b are made different, and the liquid crystal injection hole 20 for injecting the liquid crystal into between the substrates is provided on the longer-side part between the lead-out electrode parts 35a and 35b of the main body 1, thereby reducing the conduction of the heat generated when the driving means is heated and press-fitted to the lead-out electrode parts 35a and 35b to the liquid crystal injection hole 20. |
