<p>A turbocharger assembly consists of a turbine (1) and a compressor (3), the blade wheels (2 and 4, respectively) of which are mounted on a common rotary shaft. The compressor (3) has an inlet (8) for air drawn in and a connector (9) for a pipe in order to feed air compressed by the compressor to a combustion engine. To compensate for delay between the increase in the supply of fuel and the increase in the quantity of air delivered by the compressor, channels (13, 14) are made in the compressor (3), which channels are intended to be connected to a separate source of compressed air (19) in order thus to be able to feed compressed air to the blade wheel (4) of the compressor. The channels have an inflow section (13) and an outflow section (14) directed onto the blades of the blade wheel. Said sections (13, 14) are arranged at an angle with respect to one another. The inflow section (13) and the outflow section (14) of the channels directly link up with one another.</p> |
