COLOR REFLECTING TYPE POLARIZING PLATE

PURPOSE: A color polarizing plate is provided to improve color display of a liquid crystal display (LCD) device. CONSTITUTION: A color reflecting type polarizing plate is manufactured by arranging an optical-anisotropic medium having retardation, between a reflecting plate and a polarizing plate. The optical-anisotropic medium has the retardation between 100nm-2000nm. A birefringence value at 450nm of retardation of the optical-anisotropic medium is greater 0.8-1.3times than a birefringence value at 590nm of retardation of the optical-anisotropic medium.
