The plug-fit coupling (1) has 2 cooperating coupling elements (4,6) attached to respective line ends, the first coupling element having at least one radial projection (5) which fits within the second coupling element upon assembly of the coupling and which is secured axially via a fixing clip (7). The coupling has a guide for radial movement of the fixing clip into its functional position.
