PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject hair cosmetic that can retain a moistened feeling of the hair without over-drying caused by usual blow of a hair drier or under dry weather conditions and gives good hair combing and slippery properties by admixing raffinose thereto. SOLUTION: Raffinose is admixed to the objective cosmetic in an amount of 0.1-10 wt.%. The raffinose is isolated, for example, from the sugar solution through a chromatographic fractionator. In addition, fatty acid salt (soap), alkyl sulfates, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate ester,α-olefinsulfonic acid and the like may be admixed.
