COLOR FILTER AND COLOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY ELEMENT USING THAT COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for a liquid crystal display element with a simple coloring process, high productivity and low cost. SOLUTION: This color filter is produced by forming color filter layers of three or more colors on one surface of a substrate. A color filter corresponding to at least one kind of color in the color filter layers is nonconductive, while other color filter layers for other colors are conductive. The conductive color filter layers contain a coloring agent and an electrically conductive material, while the nonconductive color filter is formed by the electrodeposition method.
