PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor having a rotor structure which makes neither the surface treatment nor knurling of a shaft necessary and yet does not reduce the efficiency of a magnetic circuit. SOLUTION: This stepping motor is provided with a stator which holds a coil 21 and a rotor 30 which rotates around the stator. In this invention, the rotor 30 is made up of a shaft 31 of a magnetic material, a bush 32 of a nonmagnetic material fixed to the shaft, a pair of rotor cores 33, 33 fixed to the bushings, and magnet 34 held between the pair of the rotor cores.
