PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily utilize a network by efficiently acquiring information on the network in a software agent system. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a client computer 5 for successively accessing a lot of servers 7-9 distributedly arranged on a network 10 through self-transfer, respectively setting access information and the execution conditions of information acquiring processing concerning information sources 7-9 at the destination of self-transfer through plural S/W agents 1-3 for acquiring information, and almost simultaneously dispatching these S/W agents onto the network 10. Based on the access information and execution conditions, the S/W agents 7-9 execute information acquiring processing mutually independently on the network 10 and carry the information back to the client computer 5 and the client computer 5 analyzes the information, put it in order and presents it for a user 4.
