PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of an image without generating color slurring in a color image and the smearing of a color toner image. SOLUTION: This color image recorder is provided with a carrying means, plural image forming parts 12BK arranged along the carrying means, a transfer means disposed to oppose it to each image forming part 12BK across the carrying means, first and second rollers, a fixing means for fixing a toner image on a recording medium 21, a first driving means for making the carrying means travel, a second driving means for rotating the first roller and a speed difference setting means for reducing the speed difference between the traveling speed of the carrying means and the circumferential speed of the first roller at fixed timing while fixation by the fixing means is executed. Since the speed difference is reduced at the fixed timing, the deflection amount of the recording medium 21 can be kept to a prescribed value. |
