PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus for measuring the characteristics of an electronic part accurately and efficiently by making the apparatus able to stably come into contact with the electronic part having terminals formed on the side face thereof. SOLUTION: Movable blocks 11, 12 are disposed oppositely to the side face of an electronic part arranged with I/O terminals and movable blocks 13, 14 are disposed oppositely to the side face of the electronic part arranged with an earth terminal. The movable blocks 11-14 are moves to open or close by a means of a moving means and clamp the electronic part on the side face thereof. The I/O terminals of the electronic part come into contact with signal conductors 15, 16 arranged in the movable blocks 11, 12 and input or output a measuring signal. The earth terminal of the electronic part comes into face contact with the forward end parts 13a, 14a of the movable blocks 13, 14 thus making earth connection.
