PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jack capable of simply grounding a chassis by providing only one insertion hole for grounding per one sleeve on a wiring board. SOLUTION: This jack is equipped with a grounding bracket 7 to short-circuit a chassis to a grounding potential by bringing a chassis contact part 8 into contact with the chassis in a condition where a sleeve 2 is protrusively provided on the front surface 1a of a body 1 and is mounted on the chassis. A chassis grounding terminal 18 is provided in the grounding bracket 7, a jack grounding terminal 3 is protruded downward from the bottom surface of the body 1 and the chassis grounding terminal 18 and the jack grounding terminal 3 are so placed adjacently each other that they can be inserted in the same insertion hole provided on a wiring board.
