PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the slipping off of a cover and the like for covering a terminal installation part of a connector housing due to a positional displacement of the cover and stretch of a wire. SOLUTION: A connector 1' with cover is formed by standing plural partitioning walls 7 for forming terminal housing chambers 6, and providing a lock arm 8 between a pair of partitioning walls 71, 72, and a cover 4' is provided opposite to the partitioning walls freely openably opened and closed. A nearly U-shaped hood part 18' is projected from the cover 4', and both sidewalls 21' of the hood part are engaged with the inside of the pair of partitioning walls. A taper guide surface 25 is formed in each tip of both the sidewall 21' or each tip of the partitioning walls 71, 72. A standing base part 9 side of the lock arm 8 is covered with the hood part 18'. An abutment wall 33 for connecting both the partitioning walls 71, 72 is provided, and a rear wall 20' of the hood part 18' is made to abut on the inside surface of the abutment wall 33. A taper guide surface is formed in a tip of the rear wall 20' or a tip of the abutment wall 33, and the tip of the rear wall and the tip of the abutment wall are made to overlap with each other.
