Shooting trainer prior to live ammunition shooting

The trainer comprises a butt (10) with control elements, coupled to a sight and a start tube for a training missile (30), and a protective cap. The butt contains a target searching head, pref. of optical, UHF and/or IR type for receiving and evaluating of target presentations and for targeting of the training missile. Pref. the butt comprises all control elements and respective target information which can differ in optical, acoustic and/or mechanical kind according to the type of the launching weapon.
