PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate installation and removal of the residue filter of a dishwasher and cleaning work by mounting the filter in such a way that it can be freely removed from the front surface of a dishwasher machine body. SOLUTION: A dishwasher comprises a water collecting part 12 provided on the bottom face of the washing basket of the dishwasher, a washing pump 8, freely rotating arm nozzles 10, 11 for washing and rinsing dishes by injecting water pressurized by the washing pump 8, and a residue filter 25 inserted in a washing water circulating passage formed by the water collecting part 12. The residue filter is mounted on the front surface of the machine body of the dishwater in such a way as to be freely removable from the front surface.
