<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological deodorizing method and a device therefor, which do not have a problem of managing chemicals as they do not use chemicals to adjust the quality of water for water spray, can efficiently deodorize malodorous gas, and are excellent in maintenance properties. SOLUTION: Malodorous gas is introduced from a malodorous gas inflow pipe 12, installed between a microorganism immobilized carrier bed 2 and a water quality adjustment part 3 of circulation water for water spray, into a biological deodorizing device 1 having the water quality adjustment part 3 at the bottom part, the microorganism immobilized carrier bed 2 above the adjustment part 3, and spray nozzles 5 above the carrier bed 2. The malodorous gas is brought into contact with the carrier bed 2 to be deodorized by oxidative degradation caused by microorganisms. Water is sprayed from the water spray nozzles 5, and the pH is measured at the water quality adjustment part 3 with a pH meter 6. According to the measured value a valve 8 installed in a feed pipe 7 of secondary treated water is opened or closed by a control device 10, and the pH value of the circulation water for water spray is kept within a fixed range by supplying the secondary treated water.</p> |
