PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable-resistance part for controlling pulse current, peak current, and noise, etc., of a power source rectifying circuit of a switching power source, etc. SOLUTION: Parts of a glass substrate 3 wherein a multi-layer film 5 comprising a first magnetic layer 52, an insulating layer 53, a second magnetic layer 54, and a protective layer 55 is formed are provided on one surface of a conductor 7 of meandering structure (orα-wound type), with one terminal 7a of the conductor 7 and one terminal 52a of the multi-layer film 5 connected in series. The first magnetic layer 52 is a magnetoresistance layer having a large magnetoresistance effect such as a multi-layer film structure of a magnetic layer and a non-magnetic metal layer, while the second magnetic layer 54 is a magnetic layer with spontaneous magnetization, applying the first magnetic layer 52 with a magnetic field through the insulating layer 53.
