PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately detect a moving object out of an image photographed by a camera by detecting a disappearing point, where centralized lines from respective inputted time series images are concentrated, and detecting the moving object from the respective images based on the detected disappearing point. SOLUTION: An image input part 12 inputs the time series images provided by photographing a road and the moving object and applies these inputted time series images to a disappearing point detecting part 14, and the disappearing point detecting part 14 detects a white line out of the time series images obtd. from the image input part 12 and calculates the disappearing point of the white line group. The position of the calculated disappearing point is applied to a moving object detecting part 16 and based on the disappearing point, the moving object detecting part 16 erases the white line and detects the moving object out of the erased image. Thus, when the background of the road or the like and the moving object are photographed by the camera, the moving object can be highly accurately detected out of the image. |
