PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress effect of external impact by interposing a soft elastic body of silicone rubber, for example, between a piezoelectric oscillator and a holder for supporting the periphery thereof fixedly. SOLUTION: A plurality of electrodes for driving and detection are formed on a piezoelectric plate having polarization component in the direction of thickness. A soft elastic body 22 is provided at a part for bonding a holder 21 to a piezoelectric oscillator 10. Consequently, generation of noise signal voltage with respect to external impact can be reduced by a factor of 3 or more as compared with a case where the holder 21 is bonded directly to the piezoelectric oscillator 10. When it is mounted on an automobile, the piezoelectric ceramic plate is protected against fracture due to external impact while enhancing the reliability thus realizing the stabilized piezoelectric oscillation gyro. |
