PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system by which a driver can easily start the automatic stopping at the driver's will, by mounting a circuit means for automatically stopping an internal combustion engine when a brake pedal is stepped during the working of the internal combustion engine and a switch mounted separately from a key switch, is operated. SOLUTION: In the deceleration of a vehicle, a brake switch 3 is on in accompany with the stepping of a brake pedal, a neutral switch 4 is off because a transmission gear is located on a travel position as it is, and a stop relay 21 is on because a key switch is on. When a driver operates a switch 1 mounted separately from the key switch, in a manually operatable position under this condition, the power is supplied to another stop relay 22 from a battery 5 through a battery relay 6 and the stop relay is off. As a result, a fuel feeding means 23 is cut from the battery 5, whereby the feed of fuel is stopped and an internal combustion engine is stopped. Accordingly the stop of the internal combustion engine can be easily performed at the driver's will.
