PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an epoch-making knife proof vest capable of covering not only the body part but also at least a chest part with a knife proof body in wearing to exhibit excellent safety and not making a wearer have difficulty in moving his or her body. SOLUTION: This knife proof vest is obtained by providing at least a front part 2 of a vest body 1 with a knife proof body 4 for preventing the penetration of a cutting tool. The top of a body part knife proof body 5 formed in such a shape as to cover the body part of a wearer is provided with a chest part knife proof body 6 capable of covering the chest part of the wearer in such a manner as to freely raise, drop and rotate the chest part knife proof body from the body part knife proof part 5 or is detachably provided with the chest part knife proof body detachably from the body part knife proof body 5 by a attachable and detachable engaging means 8. |
