PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antimicrobial deodorizing fiber exhibiting excellent antimicrobial deodorizing performance or a yarn or a sheet using the fiber by attaching antimicrobial deodorizing particles obtained by applying a fluorine- based porous layer formed onto the surface of photocatalyst particles to fiber surface. SOLUTION: This antimicrobial deodorizing particles are obtained by coating the surface of light catalyst particles comprising titanium oxide with a porous layer comprising a fluororesin such as polytetrafluoroethylene to afford antimicrobial deodorizing particles, charging these antimicrobial deodorizing particles into a dyeing bath and then subjecting a fiber to dyeing treatment and attaching these particles together with dye to the fiber or attaching these particles to the recessed part of the fiber surface layer. This antimicrobial deodorizing yarn or antimicrobial deodorizing fiber sheet is produced by using the antimicrobial deodorizing yarn and antimicrobial deodorizing fiber sheet.
