PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition capable of effectively cutting near- infrared ray over a wide wavelength range and high in visible ray transmissivity by including a specific phosphate ester and copper ion in an acrylic-based resin. SOLUTION: This resin composition is obtained by including (A) a phosphate ester shown by formula I [R is a group shown by formula II (R1 is a 1-20C alkyl; R2 is a 1-6C alkylene; and (m) is 1 to 6); and (n) is 1 or 2], e.g. a compound shown by formula III, (B) copper ion (e.g. copper acetate) preferably at 0.02 to 10 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the component D, described below, (C) a (substituted) amino group, preferably N,N-dimethylamino, in an acrylic-based resin. The component A is obtained by reacting an alcohol shown by the formula R-OH with phosphorus pentoxide in an organic solvent. The component D is preferably a polymer obtained by radical polymerization of a (meth)acrylate ester-based monomer, e.g. methyl (meth)acrylate.
