PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit the signal of higher priority preferentially rather than the signal of lower transmission priority through a transmission line for originally transmitting the signal of lower priority even when any fault occurs on a transmission line for transmitting the signal of higher priority. SOLUTION: Concerning this transmission/reception system, even when any fault occurs on a first transmission line L1, since a first signal S1 of higher transmission priority is transmitted through a second transmission line L2 preferentially rather than a second signal S2 of lower transmission priority, the transmission of the first signal S1 is maintained. Similarly, even when any fault occurs on a third transmission line L3, since a third signal S3 of higher transmission priority is transmitted through a fourth transmission line L4 preferentially rather than a fourth signal S4 of lower transmission priority, the transmission of the third signal S3 is maintained.
