PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid transport device which can use a stable fluid of high specific gravity free of toxicity such as mercury and can be embodied at a low cost compared with an arrangement using an expensive metal such as mercury. SOLUTION: A fluid transport device is equipped with two storage tanks 22 and 23 for a working fluid 21 containing fine powder, a piping 24 to generate communication between the tanks 22 and 23 and consisting at least partially of a pipe part 24a having flexibility, and a transporting means 25 which has roller parts 33 rotatable both in the regular and reverse directions to press the pipe part 24a in rotating and move the working fluid 21 in the pipe part 24a and which transports the working fluid 21 in the pipe part 24a from either of the tanks 22 and 23 to the other.
